Rohan Ward
Rohan brings a wealth of experience to the team, having been a registered physiotherapist for nearly a decade. He holds two degrees: a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science. He has thoroughly enjoyed working in private practice throughout his career, rehabilitating a wide variety of patients from all walks of life and from all sorts of injury, pain, and dysfunction.
Rohan takes great care in delivering treatment within a pragmatic framework that is grounded in evidence-based research and suited to meet his patients’ individual needs. He is both passionate and fascinated by the complex nature of patient rehabilitation, and has comprehensive knowledge of how the body works and enjoys giving this insight to his patients.
Rohan believes in the importance of ‘one-on-one’ care and achieving an immediate outcome for his patients. This is achieved through utilizing a ‘hands-on’ approach to his treatment, accompanied with targeted exercise prescription, ensuring that his rehabilitation is timely, specific, and effective. He employs a wide assortment of treatment modalities, including dry needling, and shockwave therapy.
Rohan has been heavily involved in sport both as an athlete and as a physiotherapist, understanding and enjoying the challenge of helping patients strive for their absolute peak performance. When he is not working, Rohan enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife and running around after their two young kids.
Rohan accepts patients at the Sippy Downs and Brightwater clinics, including Saturday appointments.
